WildPipe vs PestPac

All of the pest depth, none of the contract trap.

The short version

Why WildPipe beats PestPac.

PestPac is deep, but owners keep describing the same three things: a hard-to-learn screen, a quote you can’t see up front, and an agreement that keeps billing after the software stops fitting. WildPipe fixes all three and adds wildlife work, phones, and live answering.

  1. 1No long-term contract to get stuck in
  2. 2Required treatment details enforced before a stop can close
  3. 3Phones and a live answering team included

The fine print, side by side

PestPac is sold by quote, so the agreement decides what you really pay and how you leave. Here’s what owners report versus how WildPipe works.

What PestPac users report

The complaints we built WildPipe to fix.

“We kept paying after we tried to leave.”

Several 2025–2026 reviews describe being billed for the rest of the agreement after cancelling or after promised features didn’t work out.

How WildPipe fixes itWildPipe has no long-term contract. If it stops earning its keep, you leave — and export every customer, job, and invoice on the way out.

“Work orders close with information missing.”

A 2025 review raised concerns that work orders could be closed without required details and that chemical selections could be documented improperly.

How WildPipe fixes itYou choose what each visit type must record — product, EPA number, rate, photos, signature — and the server refuses to close the stop until it’s there.

“Powerful, but my new CSR can’t learn it.”

Reviewers consistently describe a steep learning curve and dated areas of the interface; ease of use scores 3.6 out of 5.

How WildPipe fixes itSeparate office and field apps built around one job at a time, plus setup and team training included — not sold as a project.

Pest and wildlife, side by side

Two real jobs, run both ways.

Pest control

Quarterly commercial bait-station service

In PestPacStation scans and treatment logs work, but the phone, texts, and after-hours answering live with other vendors.

In WildPipeScan the stations, log the product and rate, capture the signature, and the customer’s calls and texts are already on the same account.

Wildlife control

Raccoon in the attic, then an exclusion

In PestPacPestPac is built around pest service, so trap checks, captures, and a seal-up end up as notes and separate work orders.

In WildPipeOne job holds the inspection, every trap check, the capture, each exclusion item with its photo, and the warranty that starts when the bill is paid.

A little more clarity

Switching from PestPac: your questions.

Ask us a question
Why do owners switch from PestPac to WildPipe?

PestPac is deep, but owners keep describing the same three things: a hard-to-learn screen, a quote you can’t see up front, and an agreement that keeps billing after the software stops fitting. WildPipe fixes all three and adds wildlife work, phones, and live answering.

Is WildPipe as deep as PestPac for commercial and termite work?

WildPipe covers recurring pest routes, bait stations, treatment and pesticide records, commercial contracts, and multi-location accounts. Ask us to run your most complex commercial account in a demo. If you rely on a specialty PestPac module, bring it up early so we can show you the equivalent or tell you plainly if there isn’t one.

What happens to my PestPac contract when I switch?

That depends on your PestPac agreement, so check its renewal date and notice period first. WildPipe itself has no long-term contract, so you can time the move to your PestPac end date without signing another commitment.

Can I bring my data over from PestPac?

Start from your PestPac export. We map customers, service locations, agreements, and history with you, then you run both side by side until you’re ready — no overlap contract needed on our end.

Is PestPac ever the better choice?

It can be. PestPac may suit you better if you want a long-standing pest system with deep commercial and termite tools.
