CSR Wildlife Technician - Louisville, KY (Remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION

At WildPipe, we're on a mission to be the destination for wildlife control companies of all sizes to survive and thrive through exponential growth in their home and expanding markets.

We provide operational support as the backbone of some of the best wildlife removal and control companies in the USA and Canada. We're also working with some fantastic wildlife rehabilitation facilities, domestic animal non-profit organizations and animal control agencies to supplement their dispatch operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll be answering inbound phone calls, text messages, web chats and web forms on behalf of our Member Businesses and their companies, and then taking the appropriate action based on the issue the caller is experiencing.

The Good: We're a rapidly-growing world-class team of wildlife and animal professionals working to maintain an environment where you'll be empowered to build, grow, and unleash your potential. We provide competitive wages, benefits and perks. We celebrate your accomplishments, listen to your feedback and implement your ideas.

The Bad: Our inbound interactions can be highly stressful and you will deal with a wide variety of emotional callers every day. For example, a caller may have a raccoon staring at them on the kitchen table. You'll have to tell that caller what to do and how much it will cost to have a Member Business respond. You'll need to overcome their objections to paying for the service and take the appropriate action if they decline to use the services of the Member Business.

WHAT EXPERIENCE HELPS

While no experience is required, experience as a wildlife removal technician, animal control officer, 911 telecommunications specialist, dispatcher or law enforcement officer will help.

The perfect candidate would be someone who has experience at a municipal animal shelter in the office or in a dispatcher role, or as a 911 communications specialist.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Our CSR Wildlife Technicians are the heart of the work WildPipe does on a daily basis for our Member Businesses. You'll train in our Southern Indiana Dispatch Center and, after being released from training, will be able to work remotely from your home.

This position will require you to work on a 10 hour shift 4 days a week. We will structure your work days to be consecutive and permanent so you'll have 3 days off on a consistent basis and have the same sleep schedule.

No overtime is expected with this position.

COMPENSATION

Salary is commensurate with experience. Pay is on a fixed hourly rate with performance related bonuses paid monthly. We also provide group health, dental, vision and pet insurance plans for our full-time employees.

HOW TO APPLY

When a position vacancy occurs we will almost always post it on Indeed. If you cannot find an Indeed post and would like to place your information on file for the next vacancy, please send your resume and cover letter to beau@wildpipe.com. No calls please!
