# Your Company’s Own Apps on the App Store and Google Play

> Give your technicians an app with your name on it and give your customers an app for your company. WildPipe builds, signs, and sends both to the App Store and Google Play, and keeps them up to date.

## One staff app for your whole team
Your technicians and office staff install an app with your company name and icon. It opens the same WildPipe field tools they use every day.

- Today’s route and every stop
- Jobs, photos, notes, and reports
- Quotes and invoices on site
- Customer messages and calls
- Push notifications for new work

## A customer app for each of your companies
Each company you run gets its own customer app. It opens that company’s customer portal, so customers see one brand: yours.

- Upcoming visits and service history
- Invoices and online payment
- Quotes, documents, and warranties
- Your logo, colors, and phone number
- One app per brand for multi-company owners

## What carries your brand
- **App name**: The name under the icon on the home screen and in the store.
- **Icon and splash screen**: Upload your own, or WildPipe uses your company logo until you do.
- **Colors**: Your brand colors carry through the app.
- **Store listing**: Your company is the developer customers see in the store.
- **Your own web address**: Links like app.yourcompany.com and my.yourcompany.com open right in your apps.

## What WildPipe handles
- Creates the app project, signing keys, and certificates
- Builds the iPhone and Android apps
- Uploads new builds to the App Store and Google Play
- Fills in store listings with real app screenshots
- Lists the exact answers for privacy and review forms
- Sends the latest build for store review with one click

## One-time steps you complete
- Create the app record in App Store Connect and Google Play Console. Apple and Google do not let anyone else do this for you, so WildPipe gives you every value to copy.
- Answer the few questions Apple and Google keep in their own consoles, such as content rating. WildPipe shows you what to choose.

## How it works
1. **Turn on your apps**: Pick a name for your staff app and each customer app in Settings → Mobile Apps.
2. **Connect your store accounts**: Add your Apple and Google developer accounts once. They link to every app automatically.
3. **WildPipe builds them**: Signing, builds, and uploads run on their own. Android builds can be downloaded from WildPipe right away.
4. **Go live**: Finish the store checklist and send your apps for review. Your team and customers find you by name.

## Frequently asked questions
### How many apps do I get?
One staff app for your organization and one customer app for each company you run. A business with three brands can have three customer apps, each opening its own customer portal.

### Do I need my own Apple and Google developer accounts?
By default your apps are published under your own Apple Developer and Google Play developer accounts, so your company shows as the developer. If you don’t have those accounts, ask us about publishing through WildPipe’s accounts. Android builds can also be downloaded directly from WildPipe.

### Is there an extra WildPipe charge for branded apps?
No. Branded apps are included with WildPipe, with no separate app-development project. Apple and Google set their own terms for the developer accounts you publish under.

### What do I have to do myself?
Apple and Google require a few one-time steps in their own consoles, such as creating the app record and answering content-rating questions. WildPipe shows the exact values to copy and handles the rest: signing, builds, uploads, listings, and screenshots.

### How do the apps stay up to date?
Most WildPipe improvements reach your apps automatically without a new store submission. When a change needs a new app version, WildPipe rebuilds it and sends it to the stores for you.

### Can people outside my company sign in to my staff app?
No. Your staff app only signs in members of your organization. Customer apps open the customer portal for that company only.

### Do customers have to install the app?
No. Your customer portal still works in any web browser. The app is a convenient option for customers who want your company on their home screen.

### Does the staff app send push notifications?
Yes. Your staff app receives push notifications on iPhone and Android, such as new stops added to a technician’s route.
